The Endless

In this volume we learn that Desire and Despair are twins, and that there are three Endless who are older than they. Another of The Endless is named, Delirium. This is also the first mention of "The Prodigal," whose identity we learn later in the series. Desire apparently wants to trick Dream into killing "one of their blood." Dream indicates there would be consequences to such an act, but doesn't enumerate them.
