Originally printed as a holiday broadsheet in 2001, The Dangerous Alphabet, planned to be a book as early as July 2004, was printed as a book in April 2008 with new illustrations by Gris Grimly. The original broadsheet's introduction was expanded to include Grimly. Composed of thirteen rhyming couplets, the alphabet is dangerous not just from it's content, but also from not quite being in alphabetical order. For the about the author section, Grimly did a portrait of Neil, and Neil did a Portrait Of Gris Grimly.
